Word or Powerpoint. I want to keep a diary with one of them i'm not sure which one to use though. Powerpoint has slides I could use for each day.

  1. PowerPoint is better suited for presentations, while Word is built for word processing -- and it sounds like that's exactly what you want to do. You can mimic the slide-a-day behavior of PowerPoint by writing each entry on a new page (hit CTRL+ENTER to insert a page break in Word.)

Another option is to start a free blog somewhere and just keep all the entries private so no one else can see them.

  2. Neither is all that great.  But Word makes much more sense.  Powerpoint has slides, yes, but doesn't have the editing tools that you would probably want to have while writing in your diary.

If you're going for some sort of graphical pretty factor, instead of pouring your soul into the printed word, use Powerpoint.

  3. Do you want it for public display?

If not, just use word. Much easier to add more, and write alot.

  4. check out livejournal...you can change your settings to keep it private, or release it to public if you want

    www.livejournal.com

  5. Try this program I use it too.

  6. If you had a mac you could use iWeb which is so awesome.

But I say use Word, because Powerpoint will get complicated.
