  1. Ping makes top quality putters.  Their Anser putters have been copied by all the top manufacturers like Scotty Cameron and Odyssey.  Find a putter that suites your stroke, though.  A heel balanced blade putter is better for a inside-square-inside stroke (an arched stroke).  A face-balanced putter is better for a straight back, straight through type of stroke.  A good way to check if a putter is faced balanced is to balance the shaft on your finger, and if the face points upwards, then it is face balanced.  If the toe points somewhat downwards, then it is more heel balanced.

In terms of the Ping putters, they have a Karsten series that should run about $89.99 and are great putters.  Most Odyssey putters run about $109.99 as well.

  2. i hav an oddysey 2 ball putter and it is da best putter i hav eva had definitley go wit odyssey

but if u lik ping dat much then go wit da ping craz-e putter it has alot of weight so u can control da head better and thus making it go straighter

  3. You should buy the putter that you like....not what someone else recommends.  You have to have confidence in your putter choice....no one else.

  4. I play with a Ping G2i CRAZ-E putter and love it.  I had putting problems the last 5 years, and since I started playing with the Ping, it has improved.  It has good balance, and nice feel, which is important in a putter.  I recommend Ping putters to anyone who asks.

  5. Ping! putters are good, but i would really have to recomend the Yes! putters, there is a whole range to suits everyones needs, from different heads to different styles, to different shafts. Also custom fit, means its perfect for you. That doesn't come with an extra cost take a look at their website, and look for a style that you like.

  6. To answer your question, Are ping's good putters? Yes, any putter you purchase is fine. If you shoot a decent handicap your ready to move up to Odyssey or Scotty Cameron range, but really if you can't read greens properly it doesn't matter what you play. I play Odyssey Sabertooth and it's fantastic. Ping and/or everything else is fine if your an occcausional player.
