  1. MCSE is pretty worthless now.  I was the thing to have 10 years ago.  Cisco or Juniper Certs are what will benefit you now.  Good luck.

  2. Are you bent upon taking up networking as a career. I'm pretty sure that MCSE doesn't have much to do with actual networking. It mostly focussed on Microsoft system admin. Networking is a vast and kinda of diverse field. You could specialize in Network architecture design or admin or Network security(my fav), etc. You could take up the CWNA but you'd be tied up to wireless networking which is a niche market because the current focus in corporate companies is wired networking as opposed to wireless because it is comparatively secure and easier to manage and administer. I'd recommend that you first decide as to which field of networking you'd like to specialize in. I'm not a big fan of vendor certifications:(  I guess the best way to go about it is to read (ideally study instead of reading and browsing thru it) a book called Computer Communication networks by  Andrew S Tanebaum(generally considered as the Bible of networking opinions may vary, depending on whom u ask:)).  It gives you a high level insight into the basics of networking and the different fields and then decide as to which field you'd like to focus on. In the international 'market' there is a huge demand for 'talented' and knowledgeable network engineers( note the emphasis on the word talented). . You can contact me by email if you need more info. All the best.

  3. if u have done bs then u should do cwna.
