I am a young teen and have been playing tennis for about one and a half months. I am looking to get a new racket. I am torn between the head titanium ti s6 and the prince turbo shark oversize.I also don't know what string to get for each. I could also use suggestions on other rackets that are not too expensive.I would really appreciate anyones help.

  1. Well since you've only been playing for about 2 months i will say go with shark. The way prince raquets work is they are much easier to generate more topspin, and that is what you want to learn. Once you learn that you can hammer it. Head generally has more power too it and hard to generate spin. Also strings that i recommened would be either prince syn gut duraflex, or Gosen OG Micro. Both sythetic gut. Both are amazing strings. You can't go wrong with either of them

  2. i'd suggest you take the Head Ti S6 strung with Head Synthetic Gut 18 at 55 lbs. the best thing about this racquet: it is more forgiving if you hit off-center (you can easily keep the racquet balance from torsional distortion) and the large strung surface (115 sq in) provide sufficient power until you can develop your own. it is also very lightweight so it won't quickly tire your arm. when you're ready, you can move to heavier and smaller headsized racquets like Head MicroGel series. hope it helps :)

  3. get a racket in big 5 for about 60-70 is good

dont worry too much about the racket

when you start playing for reals for about a year then u will be able to tell the difference

  4. Both are ok if you're on a budget and my preference would be the Prince because the technology is newer I think.

But personally, I'd go for a midplus racquet instead of an oversize.  Don't be scared of a smaller head - it'll teach you to hit more accurately and with a full stroke.  Anything from 98-105 sq inchs would do fine and for about USD100, my choice would be the Wilson nPro Open 100.  Good luck!

  5. well, the head s6 is for players with a short swing, and since you are a begginer that is not the best choice...

I dont really like the prince shark.. I think that the best raquet you could buy to improve your game is a head liquid metal 4 I bought las year and it improved my game a lot!! It has a lot of power and control.

  6. WILSON KBLADE 98

    it is the best
