Which rechargeable batteries do I use for my Canon A590?

I've looked through the instruction booklet but can't find it anywhere, does anyone know which rechargeable batteries I should use for my Canon A590? It sounds stupid but I used the wrong ones in my old camera and it stopped working.

Batteries      2x Size-AA Alkaline or NiMH Batteries(NB4-300) (Alkalines supplied) .
