I don't hate any ref. My son was at one time a junior ref, refereeing ages U6's through to U12's.

He had abuse hurled at him on many occasion, generally from the parents of the team who were behind.

I challenge anybody to go out there & have a go at refereeing U6's & see how hard it actually is, let alone officiating at a NRL game.

Fully agree with with aussiesmith here, i recently went to a under 12's game with to watch my nephew play and they had a referee there that was about 16 years old and he missed a knock on and some of the parents just got stuck into him. i believe some people don't appreciate how hard it is to be a referee. Whenever your teams loses a game, who's to blame?  Not your team but the ref

Mate what a dumb and pointless question.

Why hate the refs. They tend not to win or lose games for teams but are merely the scapegoats.

Sure they are not perfect but show me a player who has had a perfect game.

Why don't you get off their back and pick up a whistle yourself.
