Which region of England boasts the most annoying accent and which boasts the most appealing ?

I don't know about appealing although I find the accents on mancunian girls kind of hot.

I can't stand cornish or devnoish accents but I think Norfolk seals 1st place as the region of England boasting the most ANNOYING accent.

i'd like to hear what you reckon too.

  1. brummy accent is a little bit worse than the scouse accent. Scottish accent is nice on a lass.

    being from middlesbrough southerners mistake us for geordie's or mackems which is really annoying.


  2. Scouse is narrowly worse than brummy.

  3. Most annoying - London (by a mile). Specifically the north London accent, but they all make my teeth itch. I lived there for a couple of years  and it took me ages to get rid of the accent afterwards.

    Most pleasant - the Celtic accents are musical and easy to listen to, especially southwestern Ireland and mid-Wales.

  4. MIDLANDS ARE NOT AMUSING! annoying is posh part of london ugh my cousins live there and they constantly say im saying things wrong cuz they say grarrrsss instead of grass and they say what are you american and most appealing is scottish  

  5. Haaa the norfolk accent is the worst going! They murder every word in the english language! And they even have the cheek to take the piiss out of cockney's!

  6. I find the South Yorkshire accent least appealing and the softly spoken accent in the south west of Ireland very pleasant

  7. I get a kick out of the Welsh accent - it's so distinct.  Geordies are slightly annoying sounding.

    i find a scottish accent on a girl quite s**y.

    i think people from the midlands have the most amusing accent.

  10. Livepool, Bristol, Newcastle all have the most annoying.

    Areas in the South probably have the best.
