  1. The Medics will have the final say if they say a rider is not fit to ride due to his injuries etc then there is no way the Authorities his team or anyone else will let him ride until he his fit again to ride

  2. it`s medical officials how has the last say on an injured unless rider thinks he is to badly injured

  3. 1 man : Dr. Claudio Costa

The last person who did not lisern to his advice was Mick Doohan, end of 1992 whilst trying to finish of the title race.

The wounds were bleeding that bad after the race, Doohan passed out nearly and Costa passed a new rule to Dorna !

As for Stoner fading ....... doubt it.

This from J Ryder via Soup :

" First, the good news. Casey Stoner's damaged left wrist held up to twenty-three laps of Misano and he set his

    seventh straight pole position...... "

23 laps and the last was his fasted. Only 5 short of Sundays race distance. Casey will fight untill the slow down lap.

  4. official gp medics assuming you are talking moto gp.

    Stoner by any chance?

Bet he will starty fast and fade.  Too much stress on hands with heavy braking to last full race distance.

  5. If your talking GP its a great answer by Wiggysan. I dont know where he digs this kind of stuff up but you can bet he is bang on the money with the facts.

  6. I know you are probably not talking about mx racing but in Australia the Steward has the final say in regards to whether the competitor is allowed to race in mx.

They have put in place in the last few years a log book for juniors only that has to have any injuries signed off by the steward or the clerk of the course.  That way when the book is produced again the steward can see when the person was injured and know if they should be riding.  It also has any infringements the rider has written in so that way if the person is a repeat offender and it happens to be a different steward they still know what the rider has been up to.
