  1. outback steak house and carabbas both in knoxville tn.

  2. Vivo's in Austin.

The food is very good, the atmosphere is fun and romantic, the art is absolutely crazy, the outdoor patio is a great place for a date.

Plus, they hand all female patrons (even little girls) a long-stemmed rose at the end of the meal. I'm a sucker for that.

Only con is that they will not share their salsa verde recipe. Best salsa verde I have ever put in my mouth.

  3. The Olive Garden in Zanesville, Ohio

  4. A place called sweetwater in N.Va., Robert Duvall shows up there from time to time also from his ranch in middleburg, Va.

  5. Ruth Chris Steakhouse in Del Mar, CA

  6. Local restaurants have the best service IMO.  The best experience I've ever had is at a small, local Chinese restaurant called Tai Li.  It is very nice & quiet in there, the food is always hot and fresh when they bring it to you.  The waiters do not come over & bother you much, nor do they ignore you. They check on you just the right amount of times, and they are always extremely kind.  The "tea boy" fills up your tea exactly when he knows it's the right time & you usually don't even notice he came by b/c he doesn't interrupt your conversation.  The staff really cares, and I think it's easier to get that in a locally, family-owned restaurant.  It could also be their culture though - quiet, kind & sincere :)

  7. mcdonald's

  8. local restaurants

  9. Capital Grille in Chicago

    Best Caviar YUMMY ;~)
