Which restaurant has the best steak in Melbourne?

I'm on a hunt for a great steak in Melbourne. The best so far I've had is at Steakhouse (Docklands). Do you know of any others?

1. Wine & Steak Company on the Yarra Bank.

2. Cardens Seafood & Steakhouse, Princess HW Dandenong

pure south on sth bank,great Tasmanian produce,excellent steak.

or try the porterhouse steak at the deanery in Bligh,pl which is off Flinders lane.

I also love the steakhouse, had a really yum Wagyu steak last time *licks lips*.

Try Vlado's, its an expensive restaurant on Bridge Road (Richmond), I recommend the set menu, many famous people have been there (I sat behind a basketballer last time) but be warned the specialise in steak so theres not much else on the menu that isn't meat (although your meal comes with a massive bowl of salad).

I also recommend the Grill at Grossi Florentino (the lower restaurant, a steak here is probably around $35 but worth every cent). Have fun!

the hogs breath cafe on princes hwy near doveton have great steak! People come from far and wide to have a steak from hogs breath!! You should check it out!!
