I know they're the same company, but some people prefer one over the other. Which do you prefer? (Me-Olive Garden)

  1. Olive Garden.  Red Lobster is just miniscule pieces of seafood drenched in butter and cheese.

  2. I prefer Olive Garden.

  3. oh gosh. i cant choose they are both SO good. if olive garden sold those cheesy biscuts that red lobster did, and red lobster sold the salad olive garden did... i would probably be in heaven. haha

  4. Until they get rid of using the bread serving napkins the same as with the regular napkins, I will not go to Olive Garden again.

That spicy food makes people blow their noses on those napkins, which are not white, therefor I know they are not bleached to kill the bacteria/viruses. So who keeps track of whether the napkin was used to blow nose or wrap bread?

Do they still use those cloth napkins that way? I have not been there in years.

  5. I have never dined @ Olive Garden, so, i guess Red Lobster

  6. Both

  7. OMG OLIVE GARDEN ALL THE WAY. I have had very bad experiences in red lobster

  8. OLIVE GARDEN FO SHO. THEIR BREADSTICKS ARE THE ****

  9. Olive Garden!

  10. Olive Garden.. Can never eat enough of their salad and breadsticks

  11. Find a really good independent restaurant. There is a great restaurant called Hemenway's in Providence, Rhode Island, ******* great. That makes Red Lobster seem like a joke.

  12. red lobster - its all about those cheddar garlic biscuits..  olive garden is just way overpriced for what you are getting..  but the dipping sauce with the calamari was pretty yum last time i went..

  13. Red Lobster

  14. Red Lobster.

Hands down, no question about it!

Red Lobster food is far superior in all categories.

(Even if you, like my son, don't eat any seafood their steaks are great , too!)

And the Red Lobster quality is rather consistent, across the country.  Olive Garden varies greatly, from place to place, and thus is undependable as a "safe choice' when travelling.  (The Olive Garden near me, in Centereach, Long Island. is often lousy, but sometimes OK.  The Olive Garden in upstate Horseheads, NY is always great!)

out of town, the Olive Garden chain is just too UNDEPENDABLE -- unless I am familiar with the particular location.  However, I've never found a bad Red Lobster.

And Fridays is almost as reliable as Red Lobster:  nearly alsways good; I've only found two bad Friday's, out of several dozen.  Ruby Tuesday, however, is almost as variable as Olive Garden.  So is Perkins.  OTOH, I've only found ONE bad Denny's.)

  15. Olive Garden

  16. Olive Garden definitley.  Red Lobster is nothing compared to real seafood places

  17. definately red lobster - i'm a sucker for seafood!
