Some people are saying both Kaplan and Princeton Review are really good. What do you think? What works for you?

Thanks.

  1. I took the AP World test and I got a 4.  I bought the Barrons AP World history book because my teacher recommended it and the Princeton Review AP world history book.  Both were really good and I recommend getting more than one so you get different opinions from the authors.  Also I would buy them on Amazon or a place like that... Its not really worth paying $15 extra for the book to be brand new and plus if its used it might have key info already highlighted

  2. I've used both Princeton and Kaplan.  Kaplan works well, but I like Princeton better.  It makes the material easy for me to remember and explains everything really well.  But I think both are great review books.

  3. Princeton Review for World History got me my 4. I didn't study all year. I whipped that book out the night before, studied it all all night and morning, and got a 4. It's AMAZING.

  4. Kaplan for AP World History. Barron's or Princeton Review for AP Chem. Barron's is good if you really want to learn AP Chem. It has a lot of information, much more than you need to pass the AP exams and if you can do well on the practice test in Barron's you should be able to ace the AP exams with ease. Princeton review has great strategies though. It doesn't have all the excess information that Barron's has but it has enough information to prepare you to pass the Ap exams. Basically go with Barron's if you care about knowing chemistry. Go with Princeton review if you just want to pass the Ap exam and you're not really interested in chemistry.

I suggest you go to a local bookstore and skim though the books before buying them. See which ones you think suit you better.
