We're about to go there tomorrow, the one in NJ, been planning it for a week. Now all of a sudden its supposed to rain tomorrow and for most of this week. I doubt that they would shut down all the rides there because of "rain", I mean it is a "water" park, most of those rides aren't even electrical.... right? I tried searching on the website and they say some rides may close due to rain, they don't say which. I tried calling the operator there and nobody ever picks up, so that's why im asking here. Would any of you be able to shed some light on this?

  1. I went down to Six Flags, St. Louis-Hurricane Harbor last year and it rained half of the time we were there. They shut down the rides and the water park for about three hours because a heavy rain was coming and lightning was also coming. It really depends on if there is going to be any lightning, then the will shut down the rides and close the water park. Hope that helps! (:

  2. i would say light rain like drizzling it might stay open. If its pouring though I am pretty sure they close all the water slides and pools. Its still a matter of safety even though the object of a water park is to get wet.

  3. when in doubt, go to the website or call the park directly.
