Which rim size will fit my geo prizm?

i know either 15,16, or 17. but what i dont get is the other measurements. for example they always have measurements such as 17x10 what does that mean?

The first number is the diameter of the wheel. The second number is the width of the wheel. There's no way a 17x10 would fit on your car, without serious modification.

Wheel, not rim. A rim is the thin section that goes around the edge of the wheel.
