Which road bike is better???

Question

which road bike is better between boardman comp, raleigh airlight 400 or claud butler milano? or can you think of any others im looking at spending about 500pound

There is little difference between the Raleigh and Boardman they cost more than the Claud Butler but they do have Tiagra gearing (nothing wrong with Sora, but its nicer!)

Personally I would save for the Boardman!

The best bike is personal preference and start of with a frame of the correct size then a saddle and Handel bars and depending on your height the length of Handel bar stem and next the most important the crnk set thy com in different lengths of throw the grater the throw means more leverage. And next wheels and tires depending on use there is very light racing wheels with tubular tyres or general road use wheels with beaded tyres if your an allrounder you may need both. And finally the rest of the fittings Brakes Gears. And if you take my advice before spending on a bike join a cycling club you will find them fendley and helpful and if you have as much pleasure as I had on bikes you will have a good time

The Boardman Comp has a good spec and I've seen some good reviews but I think it is a bit more than your £500 budget.

One thing I would say is now is a good time to start looking as a lot of 2008 models are starting to be reduced.  If you shop around you could even get a 105 equipped bike within your budget.
