Which road bike tires for Jujuy roads?

It looks like theres lots of cactus in Jujuy province. If I'm biking up through Purmamarca and over to the salt flats on a road bike with standard 700c tires, will I get a lot of punctures?

Usually the cactus are far away from the road, I dont think is gonna be an issue. Anyway is gonna be better if you bring some dirt tires, cause there are many places where you can go  riding of the road or by dirt roads with many stones
