  1. If you are traveling by car then it really makes no difference which airport you go to, both are roughly the same distance from Perugia. If you decide to take public transport then it's better to go to FCO as you can take a train directly from the airport. From CIA you have to take a bus or taxi to the centre of Rome and take a train from there. Hope this helps.

  2. I advice Fiumicino, then take a taxi to go to the Central Station in Rome and then a train to perugia

  3. Rome has two airports..Roma Ciampino is old in the town and was military..but now is open also for charter-fly ..But the pista (track) is not very long..Airport "Leonardo da Vinci" is in village Fiumicino near the sea and is a big international airport..10 km far from town of Rome..Going to Perugia the time is the same..In Fiumicino there is railway station for Rome after you must change for Perugia..In Ciampino air. you must catch a taxi to arrive station of Termini and after going to Perugia..Taxi is more expensive than train .There are also bus in town but Rome is large .So you the choice !

    Francis-Florence town- Italy

  4. Distance wise, they are virtually the same; about 100 miles. If you are coming from Europe some of the discount carriers only go to Ciampino. Go for the cheaper, more convenient airfare.
