  1. It really depends on what you are looking for as far as crowd wise and activity wise.  The Brilliance, Radiance, Serenade and Jewel are beautiful ships that do not have quite as many activities onboard as the larger ships, but have a great relaxed atmosphere and generally their itineraries are a little more exotic than the larger ships and therefore do not get quite as many families.  So if you are looking for a nice relaxing honeymoon with nice things still to do onboard, definitely check out on of those ships.  If you are looking for action packed adventure, I would say the larger ships such as the Navigator, Explorer, Mariner, Voyager, Adventure, Freedom, Independence or Liberty would be the way to go.  The 8 Night Eastern Caribbean on the Jewel or the Radiance would probably be my pick.  The 6 Night Wester Caribbean that those ships do is also a very nice itinerary.

  4. I have cruised on a Freedom Class ship, the Freedom of the Seas; two Voyager Class ships, Mariner and Adventure of the Seas; and two Radiance Class ships, Brilliance and Jewel of the Seas; plus a couple other of their ships.  If you are an active couple that likes to have a lot of activities on the ship (in addition to the pools, hot tubs and gym); things like the surfing simulator, rock climbing wall, ice skating, in-line roller skating, etc., then you should consider going on the Freedom Class or Voyager Class ships.

While the Radiance Class is are lovely ships, they do not have all of the activities (like in-line roller and ice skating) that the Voyager and Freedom have.  The Radiance Class have the rock climbing wall, basketball court and mini-golf.  They also are the only ships with a pool table.  With fewer on-board activities things are a little more laid back during the day with pool and gym activities pretty much dominating, along with rock climbing on the wall.

I have been on two other RC ships, the Splendor, and the now retired Empress.  They were nice ships but did not have the latest features.  I prefer the newer ships much better.  In general I think you do better going with RC's newer ships which are the three classes that I have mentioned. I think you would enjoy the Voyager Class best; I know I do.

You should take a look for yourself at these ships and you can do that through a virtual tour right on RC's web site:
