Which security suite software is the best?

I want to know facts and opinions from other websites and you. Please add more facts that are recent and not out dated.

My personal opinion is McAfee, but the programs with the best detection rates are either Avira or Kaspersky. Most websites suggest BitDefender, but I personally hate it, it slows down the computer a lot. This link is really the only one to trust as many other sites have different opinions to which is best.
