  1. In English body parts do not have any special rules of grammar. Leg starts with a consonant sound, so it has 'a' before it. If you were to say "I have an eye" you'd be following the rule about words that begin with a vowel sound - those have 'an' before them.

We say 'Which sentence is correct?" or "Which sentence is better?" We don't say "more right."

  2. I have a leg.

    It sounds better.

  3. YES.. in grammar  A/An are both indefinite article..  A+ singular noun beginning with a consonant sound and AN+ singular noun beginning with a vowel... For example, Sally has a broken leg....this sentence  tells us she had one broken leg...

  4. The general rule for a and an is that if the next word starts with a vowel, use an.  Both indicate a nonspecific noun, while the means you're talking about a certain one.

  5. i have a leg is the right one

  6. The rule stands as normal:

If the following word starts with a vowel, then you use "an" if not you use "a", e.g.

    I have a leg bandaged

    I have an ear infection

  7. To say that someone "has leg" means that they have attractive legs and they are probably showing them off with a short dress or a short skirt.

To say that someone "has a leg", just has the regular English meaning.  I don't know.  Everybody has a leg, most people have two legs.

  8. For singular words that start with a vowel, you use an, if it starts with a consonant, you use a.

Not particularly on body parts but on any word.

Since you said leg (singular) and not legs (plural), its appropriate that you use a.

  9. I have a leg. Using a and an with body parts is allowed e.g I have an eye.

  10. i have a leg.

  11. its i have a leg. you use an when the next word start with a vowel.

eg.i i am eating an apple or i have an eye. body parts or not always put an next to a vowel.

  12. Ensure logic shows in your sentences. It is more correct to say:

1)I have legs that are long and slim

2)I have a(or 'one') leg that is a centimetre shorter than the other.

Use 'an' when you use 'eye, ear, arm,' in the same manner when mentioning other words beginning with vowels.

  13. i have a leg. i have an leg doesnt sound right.
