I have a total of 5 speakers (4 stands and 1 centre) and one bad *** sub and I wanted to know what settings I should put everything on my receiver on to receive the best quality sound on my surround sound? Also I want aloott of "boom" when I listen to music on my sub, how can I do this all? Thanks ;)

Sorry if you dont know about my receiver but hopefully if you have the time can search it up and decide which settings best fit me.

The manual, please dont even go there it is "too complex" for me;) thanks-marc

  1. dts, dolby prologic, dolby digital or dolby pro music.

  2. The following articles give great examples of what to do.  Set your speakers to small, subwoofer to on, and crossover to 80.  Purchase an analog SPL meter from Radio Shack and calibrate your system.
