light blue or dark blue?

like which is more closer to brown?

My guess would be light blue is the whitest of them all, maybe?

????

so am i right?

I'm also trying to see about the chances of a brown eye person with the blue gene attached breeds with a blue eyed person.

If that person had darker or lighter blue eyes, which shade of blue eye would stand more of a chance of having a blue eyes kid be a recessive blue gene carrying brown eyed person.

usually brown + blue = brown, but if the brown has the gene for blue then there is about a 50 50 chance or something like that "may not be all that accurate" chance of blue eys coming out on the kid.

light brown eyes are more whiter than dark brown eyes.

so am i right about blue?

Also, is the gene for Green eyes recessive or dominate?

and if it is dominate, then which is stronger, green eyes or brown?

if recessive, which is stronger, blue or green?

Also, which shade of blue is stronger?

dark blue or light blue?

what i mean by stronger, i mean more likely that if the two would mix, which would be more likely to come out in the child than the other.

  1. Its weird, the best i could do is.

Brown beats green, green beats blue, blue beats nothing.

but can come out in later generations if the two recessives meet.

I have no idea about the which is whiter, i would guess the lighter shade of any color.

  2. Eye colour in humans is a "polygenic trait" - meaning it is controlled by more than one gene.

There are at least three genes controlling human eye colour, and each of them can have several different alleles - which is why there are so many different possible eye colours (brown, hazel, green, blue, violet, grey, amber, etc.)
