Which shift is best or worst?

6-2pm ( all the old folks tend to work this )

2-10pm ( which i currenty do and hate ) also known as a graveyard shift hahaha!

10pm-6am ( but thats no life at all ) also known as a gold diggers shift for sum strange reason

which do u think is best for me?

Now my motorbike is off the road I have to cycle which sucks ***!

  1. I have worked all three shift patterns and they each have their own pro's and con's.

    6-2(earlies) I don't have a problem getting up in the mornings so this shift suited me best, I had the rest of the day free!

    2-10(lates) good if you prefer a morning 'lay-in'! - but I found it tied the day up a bit and you can't get involved with other projects!

    10-6(nights) quiet, less hassle and usually premium payment!

    Most companies rotate the two day shifts on a weekly basis though.

    The best is what suits you ????

    I currently work a continental shift pattern ( 2 x 12 hr days, followed by 2 x 12hr nights and 4 days off) it might seem strange but I wouldn't go back to the old shift patterns.
