Which should I buy? PS3 or Wii?

PS3 or Wii .....I own a PS2 and i had it for three years oledi.... (and im not really a pro gamer).....i can buy a PS3 bcoz i can still play my PS2 games and i love PS3 games...i can buy Wii bcos there are cool interactive games......p.s. price doesnt matter.....

well i own a ps3 and kinda want to get wii for da family ... but il go with ps3 u get the go on the internet and play online for free can use any bluetooth with it... and yeah u can still play the old ps2 game online with the ps3 but if u need anymore info let me kno i kno a lot bout the ps3... and p.s i believe they got a ps3 80 GB with metal gear solid 4 for only $ 400 and u get da new controler with it too..

Personally I would choose the XBox 360  but if your not having it I would say te Wii (Get Wii fit as well)

the ps3 because of the potential they have over 75 exclusive games coming out that's more than any other system right now and the wii kinda lacks games even though I like the ps3 and wii.

No but seriously, Wii is more fun than the Ps3. I'd suggest get a Wii, you won't regret it.

you see people ask this question many times but in the end it's all up to your preference.

if you still want to play your ps2 games, i'd say go out and find an old version of ps3 RIGHT NOW. starting november, sony is going to put a new 120gb on the market that will NOT support backward compatibility. but if backward compatibility (meaning you can play ps2 games on ps3) doesn't apply to you, both systems are good. ps3 is hands down superior in almost every aspect except its games right now. so you may run into shortage of ps3 games as of now.

wii is great for family and friends. it's interactive, innovative, and extremely fun. but it's only fun WITH if you're playing with someone else. since most of the games are designed towards group interaction, you might get bored real quick if you play by yourself alone.

both are good. choose wisely. but if price doesn't matter, you can always buy both of them and not worry about it.

Well it really depends on you , if you are really into FPS games, and graphics, and mainly play games by yourself, and also want to play games online, then definately get a PS3.

If you want to play fun interactive games, that you and your friends can play together, and love the Zelda, Mario, Metroid franchises, then definately get a Wii.

Both are great consoles, I actually dont own a PS3, but I do own a Wii and a 360. And I wouldnt trade neither of the two consoles
