Which should I feed my pet toad?

I caught a toad yesterday and I need to know which food I should buy him. I went to petco and they said the best things for toads were either crickets or flightless fruit flies. Which one should I get him?

the flightless fruit flies, i've never tryed them though lol i've always bought crickets and dusted them in calcium supplement :P

Crickets,They are the best for toads takes less to fill them up fruit flies are stubborn,i have caught many toads and they will eat mill worms,eath worms,crickets,flies.

Start with crickets and if you caught it near where you live then find out what types of insects live near you and catch your own or buy some from the pet shop. When catching your own go somewhere away from houses to make sure that there would be no chemicals on the insects which could be harmfull. Also dust some of them with calcium  and multivitamins powder.

I've always used crickets as a staple for my frogs (well most of my frogs). I would start with them.
