Well I was originally going to go with 2 12" and get whatever amp to fit it but my friend who has experience in car audio told me it wouldn'tt be anoticeablee difference to get a 2000 watt amp with 2 1000 watt 10" subs and it would be cheaper as well. Money isn't much of a factor because it will be from ebay but will it give me the same bump as 2 12's?

  1. 12's will always be better if you have the room. It sounds like you're going a little overkill though.

  2. 2 12's are always best,

10's are best for techno, / dance music since there is alot of quick fast beats and the 10s respond quicker,

12's for rap, and pritty much everything.

  3. you should get 2 12" and a 10" that way you can hear every note

  4. 12s will bump harder.  That's it.  Now, you probably won't even turn them up loud enough to be able to know and appreciate that but yes, 12s WILL bump harder.  Get the 12s.  That's what you wanted and that's what you'll be happier with.  Then you'll never have to roll around with your 10s wondering if 12s bump harder because you'll have 12s.  Simple.

  5. 2 12's if you want louder bass....2 10's if you want more cleaner bump and detail.......only 1 12 kicker L7 if you want bad a** sound w/bad a** bass......

  6. none just save your money

  7. 12" will sound much better.

  8. Get two 12s kickers

  9. 12's have a little better frequency range then 10's and will push a little more air due to the increased surface area of the woofers.  If space is an issue, then go with the 10's, but if cost & trunk space aren't an issue, I'd recommend going with the 12's.
