  1. There is no "best" brand of figure skate or skating boot. But there are brands that may be better for you. There are sooooo many brands - Riedell, Risport, Gam, Edea, Harlick, Belati, Klingbeil, SP-Teri and more. Each has great features and each feels different. The same will apply to blades and the companies that manufacture them.

The best combination of boot and blade for you and your level of skating is something to ask you coach or instructor about. If you are not getting instruction at this time, many good skate shops will measure and evaluate your feet and take into consideration your skating level or activities and make a recommendation.

Eventually, you will experience enough good (or bad) skate fittings to know what your preference is... and you will answer this question for someone else.

  2. It depends on your level. I'd go to the skate shop near you and tell them what jumps/ spins you are doing. Also tell them how serious you are and the price range you are willing to pay. I personally use Jackson's Ultima but I am working on all my doubles up to double axel. My blade is a brand new type, Jackson still. The brand will depend on your own comfort level!

  3. reidell bronze medal and comet carnation blades are what I have and they work really well.  But if ur higher then a juv or intermediate level u may won't silver or gold medal insted of bronze.

  4. depends on your level... jackson freestyle are a good choice for single jumps and scratch spins, etc. you could choose risport, riedell, gam or jackson all of them are great!=D

  5. GAM are quite good aswell some professionals at my rink have them..

    Good Luck =] x x
