I have the 3g,and trust me it sucks.

I had the model just before the tilt, the 8525.

Going from the 8526 to the iphone was a disaster. The iphone has extremely limited functionality.The tilt is compatible with everything and has programs light years beyond apple. Pocket PC also expects the end consumer may want to hack the phones and cook the ROMS, and they allow you to do so.

I was doing things 3 years ago with pocket pcs. that you still can't do with iphones.

If you want to have a phone with limited storage, no mms messages, no a2dp bluetooth support, dropped calls, violate your terms of service with custom ROMS (which apple also attempted to brick the phones of people who did this with an update), useless applications, no hard keyboard, and limits you to taking obtuse mirror pictures of your self with pursed lips for myspace... get an iphone3g.
