  1. i would get the geckos easy to look after and if u get a 20 gallon viv you can get 2 but make sure its a male or a female or 2 females as 2 males will fight for territory and might possibly kill each other

  2. Avoid anoles.  They don't live long, are hard to handle and are really quite small and uninteresting.  The only good thing about an anole is they are very cheap.

Go for the leopard gecko.  If you want two, make sure they are both female.  Two males will fight, a male and a female will breed (which can be dangerous if they're too young, and can also be stresful on the female unless you watch them very carefully).  For a pair, a 15 gallon aquarium will surely suffice.

For full care on leopard geckos, check out this site, and addition go onto google and search "leopard gecko care sheet".  http://www.leopardgeckocare.net/   Read as much as you can about care for a gecko.  I personally have a full care sheet drafted for any of my customers that have limited reptile experience... I'm a leopard gecko breeder (amoung other reptile species).  I would also suggest that you purchase from an independant breeder rather than a petstore as they will be in much better health.

    Best of luck to you.

  3. If you are considering a leopard gecko, a 10 gallon is fine for one gecko for the first few months of its life, but not for an adult, or especially two adults. You would need at least a 15 or 20 gallon for an adult leo, 20 for two adults. Also, don't put two males together or they will fight. And if you put two adult female leos together, make sure they are around the same size, because if one is bigger the bigger one will bully the small one and hog the food.

  4. 1. i would go with anole if

you cant hold it for at least 4 hours. i use to breed green anoles. 2.they eat mainly bugs(includes gecko) and require plants a lounging space 3.and you can have another one in there. be sure you have a heating lamp, climbing area, plenty of water and some sand at the bottom of the cage. if your not planning on breeding anoles then i wouldnt put another one in there. they may fight or mate. but a gecko+gecko is okay and so is gecko+anole. they dont get very big. but sometimes anoles will bite and hold on to your finger. do not pull him/her off. just wait patiently for it to get tired. geckos rarly bite. you may want to buy a poopscooper too.

    my aquarium has

    1 anole

    1 tree gecko

2 tree frogs. they get along just fine. add me as a contact so that if you have any more concerns  i can help you.
