Which should i get two dwarfs or roborovski hamsters?

Question

i really want a new hamster after my 1st one died a few months ago, and i'm really lonely.

but now my little brother wants one too so i have to get two.

an advice?

russian dwarfs :-)

but get them from the same litter and make sure they are both the same s*x unless you want lots of baby hamsters !

keep an eye on them incase they fight.

if you plan to let the hamsters live together make sure they are good living in groups. Some hamsters are solitary animals.

Roborovski hamsters are dwarf hamster. there is a few different species of dwarf hamsters such as winter white dwarf and russian.

But if you must get to hamsters you must get some kind of dwarf. Robo's are a good choice (i have 6 of them) they like in live in same s*x pairs, mostly from the same litter. Just please dont get two syrian hamsters they will fight to the death.

Robo's are friendly, mine never bite me. they will love to run around your house in a ball more then anything.

you can get a dwarf hamster.roboski they hate us to touch them more n very active.do take 2 hamster but it breeds very fast.i ever had 35 hamsters n it can live happily with their growns up together.

I think you should get dwarf. Even though a roborovski is a DWARF hamster. But another kind of dwarf would be better, the roborovski is harder to train and harder to catch. Don NOT get a Syrian, they are solitary animals, and put 2 in a cage and they will kill each other. Good luck and i hope i helped :)

I used to have two roborovski hamster and they were awesome.Get them they are really good fun and they are really cute cause they are so small. They are really good fun

get the russian dwarfs. They are fat and cute. The robos are only active way lae at night, so you and your little brother wont be able to play with them much.

Well both these types of hamster can live together, but you should get them both at once from the same litter.  And keep an eye on them, just because they are litter mates is not an absolute guarantee they will always get on.

If you want to be able to handle your pet regularly, with ease, I would recommend russian dwarfs.  They are bigger and live a little longer than robos.  Robos are very cute and interesting to watch, but they are so fast!  They also have extremely flexible bodies, meaning it is very easy for them to escape.  

Also, would you consider a syrian hamster?  Two syrians can never live together, but they make wonderful pets and are easier for younger children to handle.

Dwarf russian campbells and dwarf winter white russian Hamsters are much less tolerant of clumsy handling than the Syrian Hamster and so are not a suitable pet for younger children. This fact, together with their small size and lively nature means they are a pet more suited to older teenagers and adults. So think about that before getting one for your little brother, maybe a syrian hamster would be better suited for him.

Roborovski hamsters are extremely small and fast making them very difficult to handle even by adults. They are sociable and an amusing pet to observe because of their lively and fast nature but they not a pet that is easily handled. Roborovski hamsters also require a large cage due to their highly active nature. Robos are not for people who want hamsters for "cuddling" since they can easily wriggle out and are very fast.

Also if you are buying 2 dwarfs or robos, make sure they are from the same litter to avoid any fighting if you put them in the same cage. As you must be aware, if you are getting 2 syrians, you cannot put them together in the same cage, you can only put them one to a cage.

roborovski hamsters are the most unfriendly beasts in the world, they bite your fingers which makes it impossible to hold them

+ i got two a few years ago called ant and dec and they didnt get on terribly well, ant killed dec haha he pushed he off the top shelf of its cage haha and broke its back :( lol so i took it back a got a refund,

and bought a hampster and i was a very good pet (Y)

STAY AWAY FROM ROBOROVSKI'S!!!!!!!!!!

Get 1 dwarf and 1 roborovski. I have 3 hamsters. 2 dwarfs and 1 roborovski and i am thinking of getting another roborovski. They are really nice and cute. Make sure to get 2 males or 2 females because they breed like mad!!!!
