Which side should i put my pegs on my bmx bike? and why not just put them on both sides??

When your just starting out, I'd recommend putting them on both sides. People that ride flatland all have 4 pegs. But If you ride street or park. You tend to not use those pegs for tricks, only grinds. Most people only learn to grind one side. so they put it on their most comfortable with.

Some pegs are heavy, having 4 of them, 2 of which you don't use is kinda a weighing you down. sooo...

well i take it you mean for street/park?

well basically.... you dont put them on both sides cos its costs more to buy two pairs, and it weighs the bike down even more!

id suggest you put them on the side which has your front foot on....

ride left foot forward, put them on left side, right foot forward, on right side. this is because you can then use your front foot to balance in certain grinds and stalls

it may not be the side that feels right... it was like that for me...

but i got used to it within maybe 3 hours of riding them on that side and i can feeble, smith, double peg, ice pick and nose pick pretty much every time with them now :)

depends on which side you grind on

or do flatland which sides are you gonna use if you use them at all

if your not gonna use them dont put them on cuz then you look like a poser all they do is weigh down your bike really
