Which side will burn faster?

PROBLEM:

A piece of metal and wood are connected with each other and the whole thing is wrapped with paper, which side will burn faster?

The metal side or the wood side?

if subjected to fire, the paper in the metal side will burn faster because metal conducts heat more compared to wood.

actually the metal side will burn faster because it is much conductive material than wood

Wood but it depends on its dryness. Metal depending on type will need higher temperature.
