For my electric I like Ernie Balls, they last a good amount of time and reasonably priced, but fender are good too.  I used to use D'Addario but i found that they tend to snap quickly and switched over so i wouldn't recommend them

For Acoustic strings i use Martin strings, they're not the cheapest but still reasonable.

You can get all of these from stringbusters.com and thy're much better than high street prices

e-Bay, However buying cheap strings is a waste of time.

Personally I look for a good make cheap. I use Fender  super bullets and the price varies between £6 and £16 on the web.  

So use e-Bay or Google to look for good offers
