  1. Not showing up for your job or purposely getting yourself fired is not an option these days in the job market.  You should take a Wednesday or Thursday off sick and visit the employment skills centre or employment centre and check out what is available to you before you take the plunge into unemployment.  The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence and unless the reason you feel you have to leave work is for sexual harassment reasons, then, I would grin and bear it until you find something by scouring the newspapers and networking with people.  Every job is precious these days.  Your future employer WILL as you why you left the company you are or were at and you will have to provide references.  So, don't burn your bridges and hang in there till you find something. Good Luck
