Which size dirt bike is the best for me (cc)?

Question

Im Five Foot; One-Hundred Pounds and im thirteen. Im a newby rider who isnt interested in racing, just riding. I need a good bike with good gas mileage considering the gas prices; i plan on riding a lot so im going to need a sturdy bike; i also need a good price considering ill be paying for half of the bike.

Don't listen to the last guy. If you get a yz125  at your weight height and experience you will kill yourself.

If you aren't interested in racing and are just a beginner, you are not going to want to get a 2 stroke: to much maintainence and to hard to ride for a beginner. And 2 strokes use more gas and also require oil mixing. just to much work for a noob.

You will definetly want a trails type dirt bike. You should look at a TTR125 and a CRF100. Go to a dealer and sit on them to decide which one fits you best then buy a used (but not old) one off Ebay.   TTR and CRF are Yamaha and Honda's super reliable series. they are very stable, require little maintainence and are great for people looking to take it easy.

Definitely a Yamaha125, the question is do you want a YZ, 2cycle engine or a YZF, 4stroke engine.  The 2cycle has more RPM and the 4stroke will have more torque.  I like Yamaha, they're tough and you can find parts for them pretty easy.

who wants an "easy to ride" dirtbike?... 13... 100 lbs... get a kx100 for sure... not too fast.. but when you want to it's got quite the speed.

If you are only interested in trail riding then have a look at these. klx125, ttr125 and crf150f.  All good for trail and would suit someone your height and weight.

Get a 100cc. like a CRF 100. If you want a biek a little bit bigger to last a couple years go with a TTR 125. GOOD LUCK!
