Go Globe. Most Globe shoes look absolutely unreal, are extremely comfortable (or so I've been told) and are VERY durable and reinforced, ideal whether you skate or just wear them casually. And Globe is an Australian company, so if you buy Globe you're supporting an Aussie company, what's there not to love?

You can't go wrong with Globe.

I bought a pair of "Globe" shoes from a website - www.attitude.uk.com .

I've had them for a year now and they haven't got any rips or tears in them. They're a comfortable everyday shoe and i imagine they would be great to skate in as they are very flexible.

I also had a pair of "Dekline" shoes before my Globe ones and they were very good also, i would recommend either one, but i personally prefer the Globe ones as i think they look better.

I've had a pair of DCs since i was 13.

I'm 17 now, and I still have those shoes.  Thats 4 years!!!

Not, to mention, I use them at least 3 times a week when I go skating.

Even though converses are my favorite shoe, converses and vans rip sooooo easily!

they are good if you aren't going to be skating long, but definalty go with DCs
