Which skis are better and for what reason...?

k2 fugitives- these are the cheaper ones and I think they would be okay

k2 public enemys-these are the more expensive but i don't know if they are better or not.

please give pros and cons for both in your answer!

It all comes down to what you are looking for.  By checking the specs on K2s website you get this.  

Fujative: 113/85/104 : Twin Tip, Unique Flex Pattern, Triaxial Braided Core, Vertical Cap, Tip and Tail Rivets, Dampening Layer, 3.5mm Edges

Low powder rating, very high groomer, mid high forgiveness, high performance.

PE: 118/85/109 : Twin tip, Triaxial Braided Core, ABS/Urethane Hybrid Sidewall, Tip and Tail Rivets, 3.5mm Steel Edges

Mid powder, high groomer, mid forgiveness, high performance.

OK, so there is the basics.  Use these to judge what type of ski is best for you.  Be realistic about your skils and the type of skiing you will be doing.  In the end these are both great skis.  The PE is a higher end ski, so if you are a real all mountain skier this might be the one.  If you do more groomers the Fujative is the better choice.  You will have FAR more fun on something that will rip the groomer stuff if you have a great ski more deisgned for it.  Not that the PE wouldn't do well, but it probably would be a little bit much, like it is eager to hit the crud.

Go to a demo day near you. Try both and see how you like them. Also try other brands and models to compare all of the features of both. Do remember that a tune of the ski will make it perform differently.

I'm a strong believer in the phrase "you get what you pay for".

However, sometimes you dont need to pay more, because the cheaper one will satisfy your needs.  If you are a serious skier, you need a serious ski.  If your not so serious about skiing, you dont need so serious a ski (obviously).  

Those skis are really similar, but I've personally only skied the fugitives, so I can't give you a comparison.  Someone else will probably be able to though.
