Personally i like the milk snake there are lots of different colors and pattern variations and they are beautiful im thinking of getting one myself

rough green snakes are very difficult to keep alive and little things can lead to big stress and they die pretty easily

milks are good looking and fun and not that hard

Milk snakes are much easier to keep as a pet. Rough greens are very finicky eaters and not a very good choice for beginners.
