Which sociological perspective comes closest to your own? Explain.?

That is not an easy question to answer. Emile Durkeim's view of social facts, as functional sociology, makes sense in today's world. There is also the conflict perspective from Karl Marx. We live in a competitive world. For example, we live in a capitalistic economy. This has been widespread in today's times a well. The countries India and China have joined the international community as their economies have changed. I am a materialist and believe in the knowability of science, that which sociology was born at a time of the rise of scientific materealism.
