If you are downloading a video from the internet, the video must be in different formats like .flv, .mpeg, .3gp, etc,etc because they are compressed for very small memory.

For playing in your system, my recommended solution would be.

1) Install K-Lite Mage codec, so that your media player can play many video formats. Its freeware.

2) Install VLC player too which plays many formats. This is one of the best media player.

If you are watching video in the internet, my request is watch video in "Maxthon" browser. Its a freeware. Download and have fun.
