  1. I will tell you the Top antiviruses and the most trusted ones.

    1.AVG Free 8

    2.Esset NOD32

    3.Kaspersky

    4.Norton Antivirus

5.McAfee( this is good when u work on the internet and when you have switched on the automatic updates.)

    6.Bit Defender.

The most one which is really good and which i trust is AVG Free 8.Every software needs updates, if you update then you will have the most advantages of it.

  2. Trend Micro Internet Security. I have been using it for 8 years and never been invaded once by anything so that say's something. You don't need anything else because it does it all.

  3. Symantec Endpoint Protection which is the best Anti-Virus software!

  4. I have used AVG Anti Virus, Zone Alarm Firewall, Spy-bot Search and Destroy and Ad Aware both spyware killers for years. They are all free for personal use and I have had no trouble with Viruses Trojans Hackers etc. I have just upgraded to AVG free 8.0 and all seems good so far. Zone Alarm allows a lot of personal configuration unlike the Windows Firewall. They can all be downloaded from http://www.download.com/ I also use Windows Defender from the Microsoft site. It is safe to use two anti-spy products but never use more than one A/V as it can cause conflicts. You should run A/V and anti spy weekly. Hope this helps

  5. AVG Free. http://free.avg.com/

  6. Norton Anti Virus.

It is rather exspensive but it is very good.

  7. Avast www.avast.com

  8. Best one is the free one :)

    Try Avast or AVG

    AVG is really good!

    I never liked Norton...

  9. Try Avast.

Avast Home Edition version 4.8 is an effective anti-virus program.

You MUST do a boot time scan in safe mode in order remove every single virus on your PC.

Even those viruses that hide inside the system restore folder.

  10. Kaspersky

  11. free:

    avast, avg

    paid:

    nod32

  12. Comodo Firewall and Anti-virus

Very good free programs with lots of settings that can be personalised. When it is first installed it will ask what to do a lot of the time as it learns what programs do what but after that it only asks when new programs are being installed. All in all a very good pair of programs even if they're not very well known. The full programs are free.

  13. whichever antivirus protection you use, you can add another later of defence with Threatfire - free here

    http://www.threatfire.com/

  14. ESET

  15. Norton on line it very good and up dated regular never had viruses or any thing get though.

  16. We've always used Norton and have never had any problems, at the moment we have Norton 360 which you can put onto other computers in the same household, so for one annual subscription both my sons' computers are protected as well.

One of my sons had a problem with his computer, it kept saying there was a virus on it so he did a scan with the Norton and it was found and fixed.  You get live updates whenever you want them.

  17. I use Nod 32 or if you want everything like Antivirus, Antispyware, Antispam and Firewall go for their Smart Security.

    Find it at www.eset.com

  18. I have always used McAfee and never had any problems, use it at work and at home, dont like Norton tried it and it stops ya from doing day to day stuff and i never trust the freebies to be honest
