for me , one of the saddest songs has to be " every time you touch me , i become a hero " by Dianna ross . this is because i / we lost a good friend who liked this somg.

he was in a wheelchair for most of his life and eventually passed away from some form of blood poisoning and kidney failure.

this happened over the xmas period , and he didn`t even tell his family , so`s not to ruin their xmas.

part of his last wish was ;  " remember me with the laughter and the good times . if you remember me for my disability , then i`m best forgotten .

then came the songs ,that day in woking crematorium,

the one previously mentioned , and  "you`ll never walk alone " plus Dixie land " by Elvis.

for me though , the dianna ross song brings back the tears ,whether for good or bad , happ;iness or  regret.

I`ll respect my friend`s wishes and smile when i remember him
