Which <span title="Type???????????????????????????????">Type?????????????????????...</span>

Question

I want to choose between hunter or western(for shows) but i like them both alot so i dont know what to pick! My mom said I can do only one to show because she doesnt want to spend money on hunter show clothes/tack and western show clothes/tack. i will still ride both at home because i have hunter and western practice saddles.My horse wll go either way.

i would ask an experienced friend (maybe someone on a judging team, or a judge themselves) to come and evaluate how your horse moves. the little insignificant details may be invisible to you, but an experienced person will be able to pick out potential and talent of the horse, and what makes him more suitable to a certain discipline. it would be terrible to make a decision, only to find out a few months later that your horse actually does better the other way.

edit: oh, sorry, i vote hunters. =] it&#039;s less expensive and i think its more fun.

personally i think western pleasure is more fun, although western is a lot more money.

I agree with the first answerer:  you should choose the one that your horse is better at, or at least better suited for.

first, does your horse get better scores at one type of show over the other? If so, go with that type of show. Do you have friends that show at one type or another?  If so go with that type of show it is always fun to show with friends..If you really can&#039;t decide..

dont think that choosing one over the other is saying u like that one better. if i had to make a choice like urs, i would stand back and see which one is ur strongest. and then see which one is ur strongest for ur horse. If u find that u both do excellent in one, then choose that one. the better u r the better chance u have of winning in shows. Good luck with ur choice, and i hope i helped u alittle!!!

EDIT: Be sure that when u do choose, dont do it on what other people said, do it on whatis the best for u and ur horses. pick the one that is the strongest for u. the stronger u r the better chance u have of winning shows. ur heart should tell u what is best for both u and ur horse. i hope u win some ribbons once u start!!!!!!!
