1. I live across the street from the harbor, of a small coastal town.

with a peek at the ocean, and I love that the weather cool, seldom very hot, or cold, but the bad part is that it rains a lot.

and we don't have any traffic problems to speak of, a really low crime rate, and people actually know each other.

I think that it is really great that my wife can feel comfortable walking the dogs, ant 2 or 3 in the morning without any fear.

  2. I have lived in a bunch of different communities so that is difficult to answer. I used to live south of Los Angeles in Long Beach/Belmont Shore area and I miss being close neighbors and being close to beaches, and any store/restaurant/ attraction/activity in the world! I currently live in the midwest in a rural setting on multiple acres and to leave here I would miss the quiet and soltitude, but I would welcome not having to drive almost an hour to get to a decent restaurant. I have also lived in mid sized cities where it was in between both the extremes I have mentioned.

  3. i would miss the familiarity of it all. i've lived in this city since i was 10 and my hubby grew up here too! i was so excited when my hubby and i found a house because my mom lives here, my brother lives here, his mom lives close. we both work in this city! everything is easy and convenient for us! plus, it's a beautiful, quiet city where family life is important.
