Which special cafe/restaurant in Toronto would you recommend me to try?

I am looking for something different and unique in TO, not your average burgers or hot dogs. Tell me why you like them. Also, the price should be student friendly. TQ.

MY BIG FAT BURRITO! It's the best place to get burritos, they have all different kinds of burritos and its a cute atmosphere. They have it in the summer where there are all open windows, right in the heart of China town. Great little joint, here's some info:

The Tulip in the Beaches has the best steak around.  It is very casual and very cheap.

Check out the many places in Toronto's Greektown on Danforth Street.  

Go early and spend the afternoon shopping in this artsy neighborhood.  Walk the area and browse the menus posted outside.  Some are funky little gyro joints and pastry shops, some are expensive and upscale, most settle right in the middle with a comfortable budget.  Plenty of sidewalk open air dining as well.

Head East on Bloor from Yonge, to Danforth Rd., between Chester and Jones Ave.

There's this Thai restaurant call "lucky elephant" which is located at Kennedy and Sheppard (Scarborough). low prices and friendly workers. Try the "tom yum goong" (hot and sour shrimp soup) and the seafood fried rice..it's the best fried rice i have ever had.. I highly recommend this place to anyone.  yum yum!!
