  1. Hi there! You seem quite intent on using out your graphics card it seems.

However I'm quite sorry to say that no game has yet been released that uses a full 512 MB. The game Crysis has a minimum system requirements of 256 MB Graphics RAM, but it might please you that it's recommended Graphics memory is 512 MB. So if you are that intent go and gt yourself a Crysis by EA Games.

It has other system requirements as well.

    CPU: Intel Core2Duo 2.2Ghz/AMD Athalon X2 4400+

    RAM:2 GB DDR2

It has one of the best graphics that the world has ever seen. Check out the game at

    www.ea.com/crysis/

Please Please let me know how you liked the game if you do play it.Please.

  2. Technically none.

Graphics cards come with a given amount of "on-card" memory which the graphics card only can use.  When you're running a game the computer uses all the memory it needs, going to the on-card memory first.  Should it require more than your graphics card has, it then calls memory from your RAM.  Having to go to your RAM for graphics memory makes you run just a little bit slower and thus you notice a performance downgrade.  So really no game requires that you have a certain ammount of on-card memory, but they may recommend you have a given ammount in order to run more smoothly.

ps. Should you run out of RAM your computer then goes to your hard drive for memory - there you'll REALLY notice a performance down-grade

  3. Most games before 2006.
