Which specific town in the 'Black Country' area would you say is the most industrial looking and polluted?

smethwick but has its the black country you would expect a lot of industry around the place but there is some nice bits of country side around and a lot of history

I think it's a toss up between Smethwick and West Bromwich they are both very high on the list to be the most industrial looking and polluted.

But they are trying to improve.

It has to be the road from netherton to Old Hill, chains, metal finishers and lorries for most of its length.

I agree with Elliehampson. The Wren's nest estate is as ugly as sin, made even uglier by the fact that the place is the "birthplace" of the "chav"
