idk id probably sh*t a brick if i saw either one of these monsters

i guess the camel can be the size of a grown mans palm, you can see how big the goliath is in comparison to a hand, but the camel can run up to 10 mph, although the goliath probably weighs like a pound, the goliath just looks like a really big terrantula (which are harmless) but the camel looks fricken gnarley, so which one are you more scared of?

  1. I'd have to say it is the trant-a-saurus!

  2. I think the second one is bigger, but I'd be more scared of the first one...

  3. the second one

  4. Camel spiders, solpugids, solifuges, sun spiders, wind scorpions, etc., are ugly as sin, but have no venom. The big ones can produce a nasty bite, though. The popular image of soldiers holding up a couple of enormous ones is the result of camera angle. They are really only a couple of inches long, not even approaching the size of the Goliath bird spider, Theraphosa blondi, which have been known to have a ten-inch legspan.

Solpugids get maybe 4 or 5 inch legspan, but compared to that their body is small, so 2 inches for big ones, Galeodes.

Both critters are in fact, harmless.

Bird spiders are usually quite docile, solpugids would rather scare you to death then run away, they disappear in a heartbeat! Yes, they are really fast ("wind" scorpions), but they will stand their ground and try to bite if cornered.

Again, neither has nasty venom, solpugids/camels spiders have NO venom.
