Which spinner would you give a place in Greatest Test XI -Shane Warne or Muralitharan or anyone else?

Murali is the obvious answer.

I would choose both. there is no way I can choose between these two greats. If the other selectors object, I'll still put my foot down, as I intend to win the match and not just make up numbers!!!!!!

I would go with Shane Warne beause he is a very good spinner although he could bat and hit a century quite easily.

IMO Murali is a better bowler but I'd pick Shane Warne because:

1) he offers more with bat

2) he offers more as a fielder

3) Murali got the chance to bowl long spells for SL, in a Greatest Test XI he might not have this luxury, Warne is more used to being part of a four-man attack where everyone chips in.

shane warne...one becuse of his betting skills which add an extra edge down the order and with bowling he thrashes throw the batting order of the opposing team specially when it matters the most

Warne is the greater spinner so i would choose him! in a real match i would rather have Murali though! cos he takes more wickets per game

I will go for shane warne . He is an intellgent player. He can utilise the situtations well . He can do well with bat also.
