  1. Swimming is fun if you like to chase walls all day. Get into a sport that has a point. Put the ball in the goal. That is a point. swimming is d**n good training but swimming the full length of the pool just to turn around and go back isn't a sport. No offense I do both myself. But swimming is just training.

  2. i like both but theyre different. played water polo for a few years and it was fun but i dont miss getting kicked in the balls. swimmings always relaxing.

  3. Water polo and swimming are both great sports, but I think swimming is better. Swimming (olympic style) is not only a team sport but an individual sport, too. You can race an individual race, or be on a relay team (medley or free). Also, there are different styles of swimming: freestyle, backstroke, butterfly, and breaststroke. In this sport, you can dive and somersault. Swimming is also a family sport, so the family can have more than one athlete on the same team. To advance to any other water activity such as water polo, sailing, or water skiing, a good swimming skill is required. Unlike other sports, swimming uses ALL the muscles in your body, which is probably why it is one of the top ways to get in shape. When swimming, swimmers build up an endurance AND speed. Besides, tan lines are hot. Ever been to a swim pro shop? Some caps or clothing articles say "swimming the right choice" on them. All in all, swimming IS the richt choice becuase it is great social interaction, a family sport, and individual AND team sport, one of the best ways to get in shape, and could even save your life.

  4. i do both but like polo because it is more team work

  5. Water polo is more Hard-core, for sure. But there's lots of drawbacks because it is a team sport. I don't like swimming as much as water polo though.
